Privacy policy

Last updated 08.10.2026

If you have found your way here, it is probably because you care about your privacy. Good - so do we. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit dotsconnected.ai, and it is written in plain language on purpose.

Giving us any personal data is always voluntary. Where we process it, we do so only for the purpose you agreed to or that is described below, and you can ask us to update or delete it at any time - see "Your rights" below.

Who is responsible for your data

The controller for dotsconnected.ai is:

The Dots Connected sp. z o.o. Chmielna 25, 00-021 Warszawa, Poland NIP 5252813113 · KRS 0000824062 Email: hello@dotsconnected.ai

What this website is

dotsconnected.ai is a marketing website. It has no user accounts, no login, no comments, and no newsletter, and none of its pages submit a form to us. In practice we handle two kinds of data: technical data collected automatically by the hosting infrastructure, and analytics data - of which a limited, cookieless part is collected for every visitor, and the fuller, cookie-based part only if you consent to it. Both are described below.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps (West Europe region). As with any web server, Azure records standard technical request logs as part of running the service - things like IP address, browser type, and the page requested. Microsoft acts as our data processor for this hosting infrastructure. We use these logs only to operate and secure the site, not to identify individual visitors.

Cookies, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads

This site sets no cookies until you say yes. There are no authentication cookies. If you accept, one advertising cookie is set, described below.

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google's Consent Mode v2 in its "advanced" configuration. Here is exactly what that means:

The Google Analytics script loads for every visitor, but with consent set to "denied" by default. In this state it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not build a profile of you. It does send cookieless signals ("pings") to Google: the page you viewed, the page that referred you here, your browser and device type, a timestamp, and the fact that consent is denied. As with any request your browser makes, your IP address is visible to Google when these signals are sent; Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store it. Google uses these signals to give us aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics. This happens whether or not you accept the banner, on the lawful basis described below.

Only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner does Google Analytics set its own cookies and process usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, and device and browser type) to produce fuller traffic reports for us. If you click "Reject" (or make no choice), no cookies are ever set and the cookieless signals described above remain the only thing sent. Google acts as our data processor for all of this analytics data and may itself be required to disclose it to third parties where the law compels it.

Google Ads

We advertise this site through Google Ads. The Google Ads tag loads through the same consent gate as Google Analytics and starts denied for every visitor.

Before you choose, and if you click "Reject", the tag sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. It sends the same kind of cookieless signal described above, which lets Google report to us in aggregate how many people an ad brought here, without identifying you.

Only if you click "Accept" does the tag set the cookie _gcl_au on your device, for 90 days. It records that you arrived from one of our ads, so that if you later contact us Google can attribute that to the ad. Accepting also lets Google use this visit to build advertising audiences and to show you our ads on other sites. Unlike the analytics data above, Google does not handle this advertising data solely on our instructions: it also uses it for its own purposes, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Your single "Accept" covers both analytics and advertising, and "Reject" covers neither. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of this page.

Your choice

Your choice itself is not stored in a cookie. It is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key tdc-consent, which stays on your device and is not sent to any server. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of this page, which reopens the banner, or by clearing this site's browsing data in your browser.

Booking a call

The "Book an intro call" button on this site links out to a third-party scheduling service, Fantastical (operated by Flexibits Inc.), hosted at fantastical.app. If you use it to book a call, you provide your name, email address, and any other details you enter directly to that service, and its own privacy policy - not this one - governs how it handles that information. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of services we merely link to; please check theirs before booking.

Lawful basis for processing

  • Cookie-based analytics (Google Analytics 4 with cookies): your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time as described above, with no effect on data already processed before withdrawal.
  • Advertising measurement and remarketing (Google Ads with the _gcl_au cookie): your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time as described above, with no effect on data already processed before withdrawal.
  • Cookieless aggregate measurement (the Consent Mode signals described above, from both the analytics and the advertising tag): our legitimate interest in knowing how much traffic this site gets and which ads bring it, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can object to this processing - see "Your rights" below.
  • Server logs and site security: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

How long we keep data

Server request logs are retained for as long as needed to operate and secure the site and are not kept indefinitely.

Google Analytics 4 data is retained for two months, the period configured in the GA4 property's data retention settings, and is deleted automatically after that.

Sharing your data

Outside of the processors named above (Microsoft for hosting, Google for analytics, and Flexibits if you choose to book a call), we do not sell or share your data. We will disclose data where the law compels us to - for example to a public authority acting within its legal powers - and in no other circumstances beyond what is described in this policy.

Third-party links

We take care over which sites we link to, but we are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, including the scheduler described above. If you follow a link away from dotsconnected.ai, we recommend checking that site's own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict or object to our processing of your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, with no effect on processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@dotsconnected.ai. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), if you believe our processing of your data breaches the law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the law changes, if the site's technology changes, or to raise our own standard above the legal minimum. The current version will always be published at this address.
